This year we are releasing a website for Makersphere which will be the hub for all things Makersphere. We recently discussed at our latest meeting about the website and logo & branding design. I have taken a look at this and come up with some new branding.
Let's start off with the new logo. Last year's logo was great but we found that it was a bit grainy and needed redoing. During the process of this, we were trying to replicate last years logo making it less grainy and changing the colour scheme. I found that it was a hard to work with so I went back to the drawing board. So, without further ado here is the new logo:
Believe it or not, the logo represents the community in a technological way. The inner picture inside the 'M' represents a circuit with the traces connecting a community of people who are helping other with their projects.
The shape of the 'M' represents a road and journey of someone's project. It is not made up of straight lines as you make mistakes and have to take a different direction.
We also have a new banner which will pop up over our branding and ticket websites:
Watch out for more information on this website and particularly on the Makersphere 2017 Info page.
